Invitation Requested: Join Us for ETHDenver 2020’s Experiential BUIDLathon to Be Part of Interactive DAO Ecosystem

Denver, CO — After putting blockchain use cases in the palm of attendees’ hands from start to finish in 2019, ETHDenver, the world’s largest web3 #BUIDLathon, or hackathon, has announced its 2020 event will implement an interactive DAO ecosystem where every attendee will have the ability to earn blockchain-based reputation and voting power as stakeholders through interactions with venue installations, art experiences, arcade games and more. ETHDenver made international news for its use of the burner wallet in 2019, which allowed individuals to purchase meals on-site using cryptocurrency. Other 2019 highlights included a non-fungible token (NFT) scavenger hunt, experiential art exhibitions and other interactive blockchain tech installations, many of which will return to the 2020 event in new and exciting ways.

Who: Some of the individuals already confirmed as ETHDenver speakers include Joseph Lubin of ConsenSys, Aya Miyaguchi of Ethereum Foundation, Caitlin Long of the Wyoming Blockchain Coalition, and Erik Voorhees of Shapeshift, with more to be announced. See the full list of announced speakers and sponsors on ETHDenver’s website.

What: Alongside numerous uses of experiential blockchain tech, this year’s free event will also feature educational opportunities, networking events, panels and fireside chats, blockchain-infused art installations, futurism discussions, podcasting and more. This year’s themes include: DeFi; DAOs and Token Engineering (TE); Gaming and Usability; Protocols and Interoperability; and Public Good and Social Impact. Industry experts will also weigh in on topics like decentralization, privacy, identity, non-fungible tokens, scaling, governance, diversity, and arts and culture in blockchain.

When & Where: Taking place February 14-16, 2020, ETHDenver is proud to be back at the Denver Sports Castle for its third annual event.
